Research Synopsis

Jeremy Kropf coordinates the Division’s synchrotron research program at the MRCAT beam line at Argonne’s Advanced Photon Source. He has 16 years experience in synchrotron radiation science, particularly x-ray absorption spectroscopy. He has published more than 50 papers in peer-reviewed journals in areas such as thin-film and surface science, nanoparticle preparation, catalysis, electrochemistry, and actinide speciation in solids and solutions. His current research is focused on studying new fuel cell electrode materials using in-situ x-ray methods.
